The Challenge We Had
Edinburgh’s Waverley Station is the Scottish capital’s main railway hub, catering for over 22 million passengers a year.
Architect’s AHR commissioned Collective CGI to provide visualisations and 3D imagery to give artists impressions of the proposed, multi-million pound development to rejuvenate the station and turn into the ‘heartbeat of the city’.
The Solution
Collective CGI produced detailed images of the proposed new retail spaces, footbridge, roofing and concourse to demonstrate to planners and key project stakeholders how the finished project would look.
Waverley Station has now been completely transformed into a bright and airy facility, befitting of Edinburgh’s status as capital of Scotland. New retail areas, signage, facilities and wayfaring systems have created a space where people can meet, with their wellbeing completely taken care of.
